Matthew Scott Brown got out of jail on Tuesday. The York County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday night that Brown stole a gun from Pinetuck Golf Club the next day, then locked himself in a nearby house.
#BREAKING I’m on the 2500 block of Tuckaway Road where the York County Sheriff’s Office says there is a barricaded subject. It appears there may be a drone in the air and I have seen multiple officers in tactical gear. More coming up on @wsoctv pic.twitter.com/hJIj80HxvJ

The sheriff said that around 9 p.m. Wednesday, officers went to Tuckaway Road in Rock Hill to help a person who was locked in.
At around 10 p.m., the sheriff said that there were negotiators on the scene and that the road near the Pinetuck Golf Club was blocked.
At 11:30 p.m., the police were still trying to catch Brown without violence. He is accused of breaking into homes and stealing things.
A crew from Channel 9 was there, too, and they saw deputies in combat gear and drones in the air.
