A woman from Florida was driving through Georgia when her vehicle climbed the ramp of a stopped tow truck and took off, flying more than 100 feet in the air.
The incident occurred on May 24 on U.S. 84 in Lowndes County, as shown on a body camera recording. A deputy of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office was on his way to the scene of an automobile collision on the other side of the grass median.
WCTV in Georgia reports that a deputy’s body camera captured the moment a car drove up the lowered tow truck ramp, took off for about 120 feet, flipped over, and landed on its roof at the accident scene.

Upon arriving at the scene of the accident, the deputy discovered the driver, a 21-year-old lady from Tallahassee, Florida, to be seriously injured.
According to WCTV’s report, she was taken for additional examination and treatment at South Georgia Medical Center. There has been no further public update on the driver’s condition.
