Officials say that the guy who was shot and killed in York County on Friday was from Rock Hill.
Sabrina Gast, the York County Coroner, said that Richard Crank Jr., who was 32 years old, died in the shooting.
Toxicology and an exam are still to come.
Deputies from the York County Sheriff’s Office said the killing happened in the late afternoon at a home on Faires Road off McConnells Highway southwest of Rock Hill.
The person who has already been charged with murder is now also facing new charges.
Sheriff Kevin Tolson and arrest warrants received by The Herald say that Stephen Josiah Brooks, 34, of Rock Hill, was charged with murder and having a gun during a violent crime.
The murder order says that Crank was shot more than once.
