Orlando Police Chief Updates After Weekend Gunshots Kill Six

On Easter weekend, six people, including two children, were shot and killed in Orlando. On Wednesday morning, police gave an update.

At 10 a.m., Police Chief Eric Smith gave new information about the two deadly shootings in Parramore and Carver Shores.

The first Easter Sunday shooting happened just after 2 a.m. when police in Parramore found the bodies of a young child, a teenager, and an adult in a home on Grand Avenue.

Police say they shot and killed the gunman, Lacorvis Daley, 28, who they say shot at them as he walked out of the house.

Then, just before 7 p.m. on Sunday, police said that five people were shot in Carver Shores’ Poppy Park.

Two of them were hurt, and three of them died.
