While playing college football at USC, he was twice named a unanimous All-American and was named the nation’s Heisman Trophy winner. In the 2006 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints selected him second overall. Reggie bought a mansion in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades for $7.75 million in April 2014. The home had five bedrooms and seven and a half thousand square feet of living space. As of August of 2019, the home is advertised for $9.995 million.

In May of 2020, he sold the property for $7.4 million, a loss of only 2% from his original purchase price but a far cry from the $10 million he had hoped to make. At roughly the same time that he put his Palisades house on the market, Bush spent $5.65 million for a brand-new Encino, California, mansion.

Reggie began dating dancer Lilit Avagyan in 2011, and the two wed on July 12, 2014. On May 6, 2013, they became parents to a daughter, Briseis. On July 12, 2015, and September 2, 2017, they became parents to sons, Uriah and Agyemang.
