A Man Dies After A Domestic Violence Incident Led To A Shooting In Caldwell

Caldwell Police are currently investigating a domestic violence incident that resulted in a shooting on Thursday night in Caldwell, ID.

On the night of March 13, around 10 p.m., officers from the Caldwell Police Department were called to a residence on Parkmont Way in response to a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that the victim’s ex-husband had fired shots at her after a heated argument.

Canyon County medics took Kuhlman to a hospital in Boise, where he passed away. A preliminary investigation found that Kuhlman was on parole for rape when the incident occurred.

Caldwell Police Chief Rex Ingram shared his thoughts on the situation, expressing, “Domestic violence has no place in our society, and it is crucial that we raise awareness about this issue. My heart goes out to the victims and the children impacted by this cowardly individual. Thankfully, no one else was harmed by the grace of God, and we stand firm in our stance against such violent behavior in our community.”
