Retired Montgomery County Fire Department Captain Arrested for Punching Gate Agent; United Airlines Bans Him

Christopher Stuart Crittenden, a 54-year-old resident of Frederick, got arrested on Thursday, March 13. He faced charges of assault and disorderly conduct for reportedly punching a United Airlines gate agent at Gate D12 in Dulles International Airport. According to FOX5, Crittenden used to be a Captain in the Montgomery County Fire Department.

A report from TMZ stated that the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority mentioned the injured agent was taken to a nearby hospital. A passenger mentioned that Crittenden was already feeling frustrated due to his first flight being canceled and his second flight being full. Eventually, he managed to secure a seat on a third flight. United Airlines has issued a permanent ban on Crittenden from flying with the airline.
