Five persons were reported killed when two vehicles collided with each other along a suburban Detroit, Michigan freeway Sunday dawn. The Michigan State police said the deadly road accident happened on M-10, also known as The Lodge Freeway around 4 in the morning. Michigan State Police Sergeant Nathaniel McQueen said due to the incident the area was shut down for motorist for six hours to allow the police to investigate the crash site.
In the initial police investigation, one of the cars was reportedly travelling on the wrong way that lead to the collision. A passenger car reportedly collided with an SUV boarded by four people that lead to the death of all of the victims. McQueen said they are still conducting a deeper investigation on the incident to determine who between the two ve hicles caused the accident by travelling on the wrong way.
