Looks like world’s top pound for pound professional boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and perennial nemesis Mexican boxing warrior Juan Manuel Marquez is set to fight again in 2012. This developed after Bob Arum, the president of Top Tank which promotes the fights of Pacquiao revealed he plans to stage the fourth meeting of the two boxing superstars after a controversial ending third fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last November 12. It can be recalled that Pacquiao won the fight via a controversial decision win over Marquez, whom many people thought he was the real winner of the fight.
Arum said he will talk to the camp of Marquez for the possibility of another fight against the Filipino boxing superstar. He said if ever Marquez will agree to fight Pacquiao again their fight would be scheduled in May 2012. After their fight, Pacquiao said despite some criticism from Marquez fans he felt he is the real winner in their fight since he was the aggressor in the entire fight.
Marquez for his part asserted that he had done everything in the ring and felt that he is the real winner in their fight. The rabid fans of the two widely popular boxers certainly they will meet again next year and really settle once and for all who is the better boxer.
