The battle for the Republication presidential nomination is getting hotter and more intense. To prop up his chances, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney took a series of attacks against United States president Barrack Obama who seeks reelection in the 2012 presidential election. Romney who currently leads the surveys in the Republican presidential polls said if Americans reelect Obama next year Iran will accomplish its supposed plan of creating its own nuclear weapons.
He said if he gets elected as President in 2012, such ambitious plans of Iran to build its own nucle ar weapons will not happen. The former governor said Obama’s handling on Iran’s nuclear plans is quite weak which is bad for America. Romney said he will do everything to stop Iran from achieving their nuclear plans to the extent of going to war against them.
The Republican former governor also criticized Obama on Syria, saying he had done too little to help protesters there, with President Bashar al-Assad’s bloody crackdown on
demonstrators claiming an estimated 3,500 lives so far. Moreover, Romney hoped the Republican will vote for him as its presidential candidate next year. Romney was the 70th Governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007.
