One of the well-loved veteran actor in Hollywood was recently brought to the hospital after he suffered a bicycle accident in Miami, Florida. According to reports, Gene Hackman, 81 was driving a bicycle without helmet along Islamorada street around 3 p.m. when a pick-up hit him.
Hackman was reportedly thrown at the grassy shoulder of the road after the unfortunate accident. The veteran actor was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for the required treatment. In his long professional career as an actor, Hackman has won two Oscar awards.
He won the best actor trophy for his role as Jimmy “Pope ye” Doyle in “The French Connection” in 1971 and the Best Supporting Actor award for “Unforgiven” in 1992. Because of his superb acting talent and good personality, Hackman is well loved and respected in Tinseltown.
