Another spectacular professional boxing bout await fight fans on May 5, 2012. Undefeated American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. will face Puerto Rican boxing superstar Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather will try to take the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight title currently being held by Cotto in what appears to be a slam-bang fight between two of the top boxers in the planet. Sporting an immaculate 42-0 win-loss record, Mayweather this early is the favorite to win over Cotto, a great slugger and boxer. The undefeated American said Cotto is a great boxer but he is very determined to give it his all in their fight and take the boxing crown and add it to his collection of championship belts.
Cotto for his part is also very excited to face Mayweather saying he wants to fight the best boxers in the world and that he had not ducked anyone who wish to face him. Boxing experts predict, whoever wins this match will face the biggest draw in professional boxing today, Filipino boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao before the end of 2011.
