Maryland police say they caught a man after he beat up and stole from men he met on a dating app.
On Thursday, April 6, police in Montgomery County said they had caught Brandon Darryl Kane.
He is charged with two counts of stealing and one count of assault in the first degree.
A police Facebook post says that Kane, who is 27, met a man on a dating app on October 10. The man agreed to pay Kane, who he knew as “Tommy,” for sex after they talked on the phone.
Police say the man paid for Kane to take an Uber to his house. When Kane went to the man’s house, he and the man had a fight, and Kane beat the man up and stole his money.
