Police say that a 30-year-old man was strangled to death on a train in Manhattan on Monday after he threatened other passengers.
When the man started acting strangely and making threats on the northbound F train around 2:30 p.m., another passenger stepped in and put him in a headlock.
Police said that the EMS workers at the Broadway–Lafayette Street/Bleecker Street station couldn’t bring him back to life.

Police say that a 24-year-old man was taken into arrest.
It wasn’t clear right away if he’d be charged.
Law enforcement sources said that the guy who died had been arrested many times before for things like assault, disorderly conduct, and fair beating.
