The police estimated that there were 250 individuals present at the party when the shooting occurred. The majority of patients were taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital, while others were flown to Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, Texas.
The Jasper School District released a statement Sunday morning, saying, “We first want to say our prayers are with those injured early Sunday morning in the shooting that took place north of town,” as reported by KMBT, an ABC News Texas affiliate.
