The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested three suspects on felony drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop and search warrant on Saturday, March 16, 2025. Upon conducting the search, investigators found around 88 pounds of bulk marijuana and several firearms. Terence Benard Benjamin, Isiah James Smith, and Marvin Bryan Brumfield, all from Biloxi, were subsequently charged with felony Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Marijuana.
On Friday, March 14, 2025, the Harrison County Narcotics Task Force Investigators stopped a Dodge Charger on Shriners Blvd. near Village Dr. in Biloxi. Benjamin, Smith, and Brumfield were approached by the investigators, who found a small amount of marijuana in their possession.
During the search of the vehicle, authorities found a handgun and around 70 pounds of bulk marijuana hidden in the trunk.
Harrison County Narcotics Task Force investigators continued their investigation at a residence on Trailwood Drive in Biloxi, where they executed a search warrant. During the search, the investigators discovered around 18 pounds of bulk marijuana, three rifles, and various items suggesting drug distribution.
Benjamin, Smith, and Brumfield got arrested and taken to the Harrison County Jail. Each of them was held on a $250,000.00 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert J. Fountain.
