Brittany Brewer, An Oklahoma Teen Found Deceased, Was Slated to Represent Her Community at a Beauty Pageant: Her Father

The grieving father of a missing young girl said his daughter was supposed to represent their town at the state beauty contest this summer before she was discovered dead alongside six other individuals, including a convicted s*x offender, on a rural Oklahoma ranch.

Following the discovery of his daughter Brittany Brewer, 16, and her friend Ivy Webster, 14, near the town of Henryetta on Monday, Brittany’s father Nathan recalled the 16-year-old as an “outgoing person” in an interview.

“She actually was selected to be Miss Henryetta at the [National American Miss pageant] in Tulsa. And now she ain’t gonna make it because she’s dead, she’s gone,” the dad told News On 6’s Kaitlyn Deggs.

Brittany is depicted in one photo beaming as she poses with her sash and pageant poster. The mourning father shared his daughter’s aspirations of becoming a teacher or a veterinarian at the vigil held on Monday night. “It’s just a parent’s worst nightmare, and I’m living it,” he said. “I am just lost,” he continued.

Jesse McFadden, 39, a registered s*x offender who was scheduled to appear in court on Monday on accusations of soliciting child pornography, was found dead alongside Brittany and Ivy, who had been missing since Sunday night.

Nathan informed the media site that his daughter had stayed with McFadden’s family several times before and that everything had always gone smoothly. McFadden went on trial on Monday for alleged s*xting of a minor with a prohibited phone while he was incarcerated in 2017.

A relative of four of the victims told police that they were all discovered shot to death on McFadden’s property, though the police have revealed no further information concerning the killings.

Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office told Janette Mayo, 59, that her daughter Holly Guess, 35, and her grandkids Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo, 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13, were the other four victims late on Monday.

It’s not known if Brittany, Ivy, and McFadden all perished in the same gunfight. The Henryetta Public School District released a statement expressing sadness for the deaths of numerous pupils.

The statement stated, “Our hearts are hurting, and we have considered what would be best for our students in the coming days,” adding that counselors and religious leaders will be available to them.
