Two Teens Arrested After Airport Way Double Homicide

According to a police statement, Stockton police arrested two teens on Tuesday who they think killed two people near Southside Market in March.

Police say that Iosua Sataua, who is 18, and a 16-year-old boy were held on suspicion of murder.

David Scott, a spokeswoman for the Stockton Police Department, said he couldn’t say if the arrest took place in Stockton or not, but he did say that the arrest was made by the Stockton Police Department.

He said he couldn’t say if the teens were in a home, a car, or somewhere else when the police found them.

Scott said that they were taken into custody without any problems. He also said that he couldn’t say if the teens had guns when they were caught.

A check of court records on Tuesday night showed that Sataua had not been charged yet.

A police statement says that two people were killed on March 4 in the 2100 block of Airport Way, near Southside Market.

Andrea Lee Jones, 24, and Jacob Haywood Thomas, 29, were both shot around 6 p.m. and died in the hospital, according to Christy Patterson, a spokeswoman for the county medical examiner, and the police.

About two weeks later, on March 16, two more people were shot and killed just a few blocks away, near 10th Street and Tiffany Street. Patterson says that Omar Rincon, who was 20, and Justin Schenk, who was 17, died.

Police said that the shooting also hurt a 19-year-old.
