A woman on a cruise ship leaving from Miami died Sunday after she fell off a balcony and landed on another passenger.
The woman fell from her balcony onto a lower deck not long after the ship set sail for Roatan, Honduras, the cruise company said Monday.

“This passenger fell off their balcony onto a lower deck, and even though they got medical help right away, they have died,” a spokesperson for Virgin Voyages said in a statement.
TMZ said that when the woman fell to the lower deck of the line’s Valiant Lady ship, she fell on top of another passenger.
The source says that the person is doing fine.
After the death, the cruise ship turned around and went back to Miami right away. Virgin Voyages said that the crews are working with the local government there.
The company’s spokesperson said, “We are deeply saddened by this person’s death, and our hearts and thoughts are with this person’s loved ones.”
