Us Weekly has confirmed that on Wednesday, July 5, Britney Spears and a member of NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security crew got into a violent brawl in Las Vegas.
“Britney saw Victor and walked up to tap him on the back to ask for a photo,” a source told to Us of the incident. “His security was being mobbed with fans and he turned around trying to push Britney off and hit her in the face, knocking off her glasses.”
The head of security for the San Antonio Spurs player then “went over to Britney and apologized and their security teams chatted for a while,” the source said, adding that “a police report was filed by Britney’s team.”
The 41-year-old “Toxic” singer checked into the ARIA Hotel’s Catch restaurant at 8:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, a reliable source has revealed. Spears and her husband Sam Asghari were present, along with a member of her security team.

TMZ broke the story on Thursday, July 6, revealing that Damian Smith, the Spurs’ director of team security, is on the roster as the person who hit Spears during the altercation. Spears may or may not be pressing criminal charges, but details of the police report have not been made public.
On Wednesday, Spears released a series of dance videos, which led to an encounter with Wembanyama’s crew. While Aerosmith played in the background, she sported a neon pink bikini bottom, a white top, and white boots in one footage.
“I have dreadful hair… It’s been so long that I broke out in a sweat from anticipation.” Spears provided the subtitles for a second film of herself dancing s*xily in her living room.
