This number significantly surpassed the required 546,651 valid California voter signatures needed to qualify the measure. The Secretary of State’s office subsequently certified the measure to be placed on the November 2024 ballot on July 26, 2023.

The ‘Justice for Renters Act’ holds the potential to reshape housing policy in California, offering hope for a brighter, more affordable future for renters across the state.
