Friday night, a driver in White Settlement lost control of his car and hit a house. Police are looking into what happened.
White Settlement Police Chief Christopher Cook wrote on social media that the driver was seen leaving the scene and that a handgun was found in the car.
Driver lost control and struck a residence in 400 block of Parkside Drive on Friday night at 9:12 p.m. The driver, described as a young male wearing dark clothing, was last seen running northbound on Judd. A handgun was also found in the floorboard. The investigation is… pic.twitter.com/G0Qjt0oAgK

Cook says that the driver lost control of the car around 9:15 p.m. and hit a house in the 400 block of Parkside Drive. There were no reports of accidents.
Cook said the last time anyone saw the driver, a young guy in dark clothes, he was running north on Judd Street. The police are looking for cameras that might have caught what happened.
