East Side Shooting Suspect Surrenders to Authorities in Connection with 20-Year-Old Woman’s Injury

On Friday morning, a suspect in the Tuesday shooting death of a 20-year-old woman on Youngstown’s east side surrendered to police.

According to 21 News, the suspect in a shooting that happened on Pearl Street Tuesday afternoon brought himself in at the Youngstown Municipal Court.

According to police, the woman was shot after shots were fired from a home on Pearl Street as she and another male passenger were traveling on Himrod Avenue.

He transported the woman to the hospital, where police say she is in stable condition. The male passenger in the car was unharmed.

Miller has been placed under house arrest until his upcoming court appearance, which has not yet been scheduled. Miller has not yet entered a plea.

Miller was also instructed not to speak to the victim in any way.
