In May 2023, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was Released in Theaters

For understandable reasons, many moviegoers were visibly moved when “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” opened in theaters back in May.

The film explores Rocket’s horrific and heartbreaking past, when he and his fellow Halfworlders (animals that have undergone cybernetically enhanced enhancements) were tortured by The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), a disturbed scientist who wishes to create the ideal species to live in his own utopia. The film is not only the third and final installment in the trilogy.

Peter/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and Gamora (Zoe Saldaa) are also at conflict with one another. As the film begins, Peter is cut off from his friends because he is mourning the death of Gamora, who died in “Avengers: Infinity War.” Even worse, he has to cope with a separate Gamora who didn’t know Peter in the present world or take part in any of their joint accomplishments.

Without spoiling anything, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” brings James Gunn’s final Marvel movie to a moving conclusion. Gunn now shares the role of co-CEO of DC Studios with film producer Peter Safran and is in charge of the overall creative direction of the DC Universe.

Like the first two “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, the third one was a financial hit, grossing over $845 million worldwide. The initial “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie, which was released in 2014, earned about $773 million at the box office, however the sequel’s $869 million box office take was greater.
