Delray Beach Police Release Composite Sketch of Woman Whose Remains Were Found in Suitcases

Delray Beach, FL – Police in Delray Beach have released a composite sketch of the woman whose remains were discovered last week in three suitcases floating in the Intracoastal Waterway. Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying the woman, whose body was found wearing a floral top made by a Brazilian company called Betzabe.

The police provided photographs of the two pieces of luggage that contained the victim’s body. One was a purple Palm Springs Ricardo Beverly Hills bag, and the other was a green and black polka dot Charlie Sports bag.

The full-body sketch in the composite rendering depicts the victim wearing clothing similar to what she was found in, although authorities emphasize that the images are not an exact likeness and are merely the artist’s interpretation.

According to Delray Beach police Sgt. Casey Kelly, the woman is believed to be white or Hispanic, between the ages of 35 to 55, and approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall.

Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information or tips related to the case. They are particularly interested in reviewing video surveillance footage from the Intracoastal Waterway between July 17 and July 20.

Tips and information should be directed to Detective Mike Liberta at 561-243-7874. Delray Beach police stress that no piece of information is too small and encourage anyone with potentially relevant information to contact them.

Local residents expressed their concern and shock over the discovery of the woman’s remains. Christopher Coats, a Delray Beach resident, expressed sadness over the tragic incident and expressed willingness to help solve the case if possible.

Another resident, Lesline Alexander, described the situation as scary and emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant and mindful of one’s surroundings. She expressed hope that the case would be solved soon, bringing closure to the investigation.

As the investigation continues, authorities are committed to finding answers and justice for the victim and her family.
