Sean Durkin, a writer and director, is delving into the difficult connection between the famous brothers and the “Von Erich curse,” which is a popular myth among fans. Out of the six Von Erich siblings, five passed away before their due dates, which gave rise to the legend that the family was cursed.
The movie will concentrate on how their father, Fritz, established a long-lasting dynasty that assisted in the advancement of the wrestling industry, as well as the tragic experiences of the family’s younger brothers and fellow wrestlers, Mike and Chris Von Erich.
Three of Fritz’s sons committed suicide and one died from illness, but there was also a lot of pressure from Fritz, exhaustion from battling, and celebrity, which contributed to the persistent idea that the family was cursed.
