On the enduring Bravo program The Real Housewives of Orange County, the women have consistently talked about their romantic relationships, and Season 17 is no exception. Shannon Storms Beador made a comeback throughout the season to keep her prized orange and brought her daughters, Sophie and Stella and Adeline, along with her ex-husband, David Beador.
The Bravolebrity, who debuted on RHOC in Season 9, shot a number of sequences with her partner John Janssen. Shannon, however, shocked viewers with a relationship development before Season 17 of the show aired that will play a big role in her storyline.

Season 17 of RHOC’s filming was completed in November 2022. One week after the cameras ceased recording, the couple separated. But Shannon didn’t mention it again until January 2023. She said that John’s actions had “blindsided” her.
Shannon told People in January 2023, “All I can do is repeat in my head what he said to me while we were filming.” We were in a wonderful location. But when the cameras were turned off seven days later, the situation changed. He informed me that the relationship was over. It was utterly upsetting to hear what he said to me at that time.

Shannon was married to David when she made her RHOC debut in Season 9. Viewers discovered his adultery over the following seasons, and after a disastrous vow renewal, the pair decided to call it quits in December 2017. The Bravolebrity met the man she loved more than David and her other ex-boyfriends when she began dating John, though.
Shannon stated of John, “I’ve never loved anyone more in my life.” I had high hopes that this was the man I would marry and have children with. I wanted it to be successful. I have never loved somebody as much as I do John. He obviously didn’t feel the same way, though.”
Despite having ended the relationship, John admitted to being “in pain” over it to People. The President of Partner at WGB Benefits Insurances Services expressed his profound affection and belief that he would “never meet anyone like Shannon again,” but he also realized it was time for the relationship to end because the two of them just weren’t “right for each other.”
