Monday, a judge in Freeborn County District Court gave a Glenville man nine years in prison for sexually abusing a child over the course of three years.
Charles Carl Yoder, who is 53 years old, admitted to one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a person under the age of 16 in December. There were several parts to the charge.
Six other counts were dropped as part of a plea deal.
Yoder will spend his time in prison in St. Cloud, and he will get credit for the four days he has already spent there. After his time in jail, he will be on probation for 10 years.
He was told to pay back $3,366 and pay a fine of $130.
