Los Angeles, CA – After announcing their decision to divorce, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have reportedly been “living separate lives,” according to a source cited by ET.
The source revealed that the couple has been focusing on their individual careers and personal lives, with Vergara dedicating her time to her new beauty brand, today. The source stated, “They have been spending time apart and focusing on themselves, their careers, and their loved ones.
Sofia has been giving her all to her new beauty brand, today, and is very involved and excited about it.” It was also noted that Manganiello did not attend a recent event hosted by Vergara to celebrate the launch of her brand.
The confirmation of their separation comes after Vergara and Manganiello released a joint statement on Page Six, stating, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for the respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
According to another source, the couple has been growing apart for some time and is now taking a step back to contemplate their future.
The social media buzz around their relationship started when Manganiello posted a simple birthday message to Vergara, and she took a solo vacation to Italy without him.
Vergara and Manganiello’s relationship began in 2014 and quickly progressed to an engagement after just six months of dating. They tied the knot on November 22, 2015. Over the years, both actors have spoken fondly of their relationship, with Manganiello expressing how easy and fulfilling it was. Vergara, on the other hand, praised Manganiello’s support and independence.
